Wilsthorpe beach is just minutes away and here dogs are allowed to play on the sands all year around. It’s a popular place for doggies and their walkers.

About the property

The Carnaby Spa cottages come with a hot tub on the patio at the back, alongside garden chairs. Inside there are 2 bedrooms, a double and a bunk bed room.

The open-plan living area includes a large sofa, TV, DVD player, a kitchen with washing machine, microwave, breakfast bar and stools, and double doors that lead out to the patio. In the bathroom there is a bath with overhead shower.

Activities in the local area

Just outside Bridlington you can find the Medieval town of Wilsthorpe which has a wide sandy beach backed with a café and sand dunes. There’s Bempton bird sanctuary here too where gannets and puffins can be spotted. 

This area is a popular seaside resort that has lots to offer visitors. The sandy beaches are ideal for family days out, and there's a great shopping complex, amusements, fairground rides and 2 golf courses here as well.

Attractions in the area include Park Rose Pottery, a heritage museum and Cruckley Animal Farm. 

Make sure you try the fish and chips while you’re here and eat them while you watch the world go by. To spend some time in the glorious Yorkshire countryside, join a trail such as the Yorkshire Wolds Way.

It cuts across the low hills and offers spectacular views. Discover Flamborough Head, a dramatic and windswept clifftop area that boasts an ancient light house.

A Final Note

The Yorkshire coast is a lovely part of England and has glorious seaside towns like Bridlington, Whitby, Scarborough and Filey to discover. 

The old town has some amazing architecture and there are antique shops, tea rooms, old pubs and boutique gift stores here. Bridlington Holiday Cottages are simply decorated and tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

Ideal for 4 people who want some peace and quiet, it’s just a few minutes in the car to the nearest village and the quieter beaches at Wilsthorpe.
