Walk for 5 minutes more and you are on the beach and beside the amusements.With more than enough space for 10 people, this holiday house has 5 large bedrooms, a living room, sitting rooms and play room. The kitchen looks like it's featured on a magazine shoot and has every top-of-the-range appliance. At the back there’s a cliff top garden with a hot tub, garden furniture are a spot to dine alfresco. This is a lovely place to hold a family reunion or get together with a group of old friends.

The 5 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms and 2 bathrooms are spread over 5 floors of this Georgian townhouse. The living room, dining room and top-of-the-range kitchen are on the ground floor.

There's a sitting room and 1 bedroom on the lower-ground floor and a king-size bedroom with en-suite on the first floor. Two double bedrooms and a twin can be found on the 3rd floor and a play area is accessed on the top floor via steep steps.

Out in the enclosed back garden, there are views down onto the beach. The hot tub and garden furniture make the most of the 180-degree views.

Activities Around Scarborough

Scarborough has been welcoming visitors to its beaches for 400 years – it was the first British seaside resort. There are traditional amusement arcades, a castle, a marine life sanctuary and of course long, sandy beaches here. Boat trips along the coast can be booked and you can try your hand at paddle-boarding too.

With so much going on in Scarborough, you might not feel the need to leave the town, but there is more to do if you venture a few miles. Further along the Heritage Coast there is Whitby, one of the best places to eat fish and chips.

The town featured in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and to celebrate they hold a Goth festival every year. The North York Moors are ideal for long walks and rambles through wooded areas and wild landscapes.

Stop at a village pub and enjoy afternoon tea and cake at one of the many coffee shops. For railway enthusiasts, a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway will be a highlight of your trip.
