What To Expect

Angrove Country Park was opened in 2018 on family-owned farmland. As you make your way into the park, you cross open rolling countryside and the River Leven.

The lodges are top quality and thoughtfully designed with every detail taken care of. Choose from a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom holiday home and spend time relaxing in the bubbling hot tub outside on the deck.

There’s a smart-looking bar on the site that serves food so you don’t have to venture far at meal times. And the children’s play area will keep little ones entertained for hours.

First Class Luxury

Activities in the Great Ayton area

Located at the tip of the North York Moors, the Cleveland Hills are gritty and rocky. Roseberry Toppings is there to be explored – an area of exposed Jurassic sandstone that is geologically important.

Walk part of the 109-mile Cleveland Way while you’re in the area. This beautiful route takes you past quaint villages and ancient castles as it meanders around the edge of the moors and along the Yorkshire coast.

At Carlton Outdoor Centre near Stokesley you can try your hand at canoeing, climbing and high ropes. The nearest beach is at Saltburn-by-the Sea and it can be reached in 20 minutes.

Here there is the oldest water-operated funicular that is still working and it takes visitors from the top of the cliff to the pier below. The Captain Cook heritage centre here is well worth the visit. It’s packed with old photos and the memories of local people, as well as the history of the captain himself.

A Final Note

Angrove is a small park with a handful of well-designed lodges in a choice of styles. This family-run holiday park was built on farmland and has a lovely, out-of-the-way feel. There is lots of space between each lodge so when you relax in the hot tub on the deck, you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

Walk on the North York Moors National Park with the family and dog, or go to the coast and spend some time by the sea. There’s a choice of things to do nearby.
