What To Expect

The holiday homes at Looe Coastal Retreat are modern, stylish and fitted with every mod con. These luxury caravans were newly installed in 2017, and there is a choice of two and three bedroom homes that sleep up to 4 or 6 people.

The park offers peace and quiet, with plenty of space between each accommodation. The harbour town of Looe is only 2 miles away where there’s a sandy beach, a choice of eateries, ice-cream stores and amusements.

At Looe Coastal Retreat, the deluxe homes come with a private outdoor hot tub. 

Sitting on a low deck to the side of the accommodation, the whirlpool is a great place to unwind together with a drink. The area of lawn around each holiday home gives you plenty of space to spread your wings.

The holiday homes were new in 2017 so they are up-to-date and modern. The selection of two and three-bedroom homes all have double doors leading from the living area onto a raised deck.

With deep sofas in the sitting room, a spacious table in the dining area and a kitchen fitted with a full oven, the caravans are fitted with every home comfort. 

Pet Friendly

DOGS ARE WELCOME

Dogs are welcome to stay in select holiday homes in this park. There are plenty of areas to walk them along the coast but some spaces request you to keep dogs on a lead. This area of south Cornwall is dog friendly as a rule, and that includes the nearby beaches at Polperro and Talland Bay.

Crystal Bay Deluxe

Comfy and stylish, these holiday homes have two bedrooms - a double and a twin. The living room comes with full-size sofas, a TV and DVD player and double doors that open onto a deck. The kitchen-diner has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, a table and chairs and is fitted for easy self catering. The hot tub can be found at the side on a low decking area with a picnic table.

Silver Sands Deluxe

This contemporary home has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 in comfort. The double bedroom has an en-suite WC and the second bedroom is a twin. The open-plan living-dining-kitchen area is light and airy with double doors that lead onto a sun deck. In the kitchen there are all mod cons including a dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. At the side, next to a lawned area, is a hot tub large enough for the whole group, as well as garden furniture.

Amber Beach Deluxe

This pet friendly home has two bedrooms - a double and a twin. The sun deck at the front leads into a comfortable living area with sofas, TV and DVD player. The open-plan kitchen and dining room is fully-equipped and includes a microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Outdoors, the private hot tub is alongside the home on a decking area. A picnic table and garden bean bags are provided so guests can enjoy the finer weather.

Activities In The Looe Area

The lively town of Looe is just 2 miles away where there are shops, cafes and a sandy beach. Two miles in the other direction is the small town of Polperro. There’s a model village to visit that is popular with families and a heritage and smuggling museum. If you enjoy long walks, then there is a trail between Polperro and Looe that’ll take around an hour to complete one way.

Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary is a 9-mile drive away. The Monkey Sanctuary rescues primates, and visitors are welcome to see them and learn all about the animals and their habitat. You can even book to be a Keeper For a Day.

Another popular day out is a visit to the Eden Project 23 miles from the Looe. Here, the giant biomes have been planted with flora from around the world and you can see thousands of different plants.

Children will enjoy the adventure playground and thrill seekings can head for the longest zip-wire in England.
