What To Expect

The lodges and luxury caravans are stylish, comfortable and top of the range. The pretty holiday park is situated in the hills leading down to Praa Sands, a village well known for its long stretch of golden beach.

Along the streets of the village, there’s a fish and chip shop, lively pub and general store so all the essentials are within easy reach.

First Class Luxury

Charming Outside Deck

The VIP accommodation at Praa Sands Holiday Park has private hot tubs outside on the sun deck.

With views over the countryside or sea, they are the ideal spot to relax and unwind. A couple of chairs outside offer a place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

The Accommodation

The lodges are a little wider than the caravans offering more space inside. They have a modern, light décor that is fresh and airy.

With fitted kitchens and comfy living areas, all of the holiday homes are perfect for time away together. There is parking next to the accommodation.

Pet Friendly

Your four-legged friend is welcome to stay. There is plenty of space to give your dog his daily walkies around the park itself. The beach close by doesn’t permit dogs between May and October, but walks along the coastal paths will give them lots of exercise.

Activities In The Penzance Area

Praa Sands is well-known for its mile-long stretch of golden beach so take your bucket and spade and spend some time by the sea. A 7-mile drive away is Flambards Theme Park, a place that will keep the whole family entertained.

There are rides for young and old, an exhibition, miniature golf and adventure playgrounds here. Penzance, a harbour town, is 9 miles away where there is a weekly market, The Exchange Art Gallery, boutique shops and restaurants. Famous for its smuggling history, it’s an interesting town to visit. Michael’s Mount can be found 5 miles from the holiday park.

This tidal island features a castle, gardens and tea rooms. The medieval walkway can only be crossed in low tide and just strolling along it is a popular thing to do when the weather is nice. The bay overlooking St Michael’s Mount is peppered with small coves and rocky outcrops which are stunning to see.

A Final Note

South Cornwall is a popular family destination and the area caters for every kind of visitor. Children, adults and even pets are welcome and there are plenty of things to do. Spend time enjoying the pretty villages, sandy beaches, country walks and fun activities that are all close by. When it comes to mealtimes, you can choose anything from fish and chips to fine cuisine in Cornwall, or you can cook up something tasty in your self-catering accommodation.

Praa Sands Holiday Park is conveniently located for visits all along the south coast of Cornwall. St Ives in northern Cornwall is only 12 miles away for a change of scene. With extras such as a hot tub and a sun deck at the VIP accommodation, this holiday park offers luxury caravans and lodges for a special holiday in the UK
