Activities In The Fordingbridge Area

With the stunning New Forest on the doorstep, and plenty to do on site, you don’t have to travel far to enjoy memorable days here.

Sandy Balls Holiday Village is on the outskirts of Fordingbridge, a pretty place on the River Arun where you can find a supermarket and coffee shop. Take a walk or cycle on the trails across the New Forest where you can spot the famous wild-roaming ponies. Lyndhurst, in the heart of the New Forest, is a 12-mile drive away. Independent stores, pubs, cafes and coffee shops line the streets of Lyndhurst so it’s well worth a visit.

For younger kids, plan a trip to Poulton Family Park home to Peppa Pig World. It’s roughly 30 minutes’ away and full of Peppa-themed rides and activities. If you prefer a visit to the Beaulieu Motor Museum, it’s located miles south. Bournemouth can be reached in no time for a day by the sea. This town is lively and offers a seven-mile sandy beach, fun fair rides, hundreds of places to eat and an excellent high street.
