Meadow's End Lodges are perfect for self-catering romantic breaks and family groups alike. The lodges provide all the home comforts that guests have become accustomed to in addition to luxury items such as a private, luxury outdoor hot tub.
But the real luxury is not in the man-made items but in the surroundings. They offer visitors a taste of another way of living, out in some of the UK's most pristine countryside with the last calls of nature ringing out through the evenings.

The lodges themselves are extremely varied. From smaller continental style lodges to larger detached dwellings suitable for an entire family, we have something for everyone regardless of group size or budget.
All accommodation is equipped with all mod cons, a fully equipped kitchen and private outdoor hot tub. The hot tubs offer visitors the ideal chance to soak up the unique charm of this indulgent rural retreat.

Being set in the Lake District we understand more than anywhere just how important t and loved the family hound is. As such we have a selection of pet-friendly lodges. Though please check when booking. Weekly pet charges apply.

A spacious, homely lodge perfect for a romantic retreat. Rooms consists of a large master bedroom with access to a private decking area and secluded outdoor hot tub. Bathroom sports a traditional sitting bath with separate shower. The main lounge area is an open planned light filled space that includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
Indulge in luxury in this deluxe mid-sized lodge. Perfect for couples or a small family the rooms consist of a master double bedroom and one twin room. Both rooms have ensuite showers. The open planned lounge area has full length windows which invite the outdoors in. For added luxury there is an authentic wood burning stove. Private hot tub and secluded veranda space.
Our newest lodge, constructed in 2016, is a deluxe affair with one master double room and one twin. The master double comes with widescreen TV and ensuite shower. Additional bathroom with sitting bath and shower. Open plan living area with doors opening onto a Veranda and outdoor hot tub.

Located in the heart of Cartmel village the priory is surrounded by picturesque English countryside. Coniston Water - Torver Back Common family walk
The southern end of Lake Coniston is overlooked by a small crop of hills called Torver Back Common. The hills sweep down to the shores of the lake where walkers can experience a mixture of fast running becks, ancient trees and hidden gravel beaches. The walk is easy going and family-friendly and visitors can even bring their four-legged pets along. For more experienced walkers a longer 3 mile excursion is available.
