What To Expect

A short walk from the picture-perfect village of Aspatria, and within a stone’s throw of the National Park, these top-quality lodges have breath-taking views across the Northern Fells and towards the Scottish Hills. Overlooking a pretty lake and surrounded by woodland there are some lovely scenic walks and cycle trails right on the doorstep along with fishing and golf on site, there's also an excellent restaurant and pub within walking distance.

Keswick, which is the nearest town to North Lakes Lodges, offers fine-dining, quintessential country pubs and some excellent attractions, kids will love the Puzzling Place, Derwent Pencil Museum and the popular Go Ape which can be found nearby.

Only 6 miles from North Lakes Lodges you will find Lake District Wildlife Park a fun day out for all ages. Among the fascinating animals on display is the only Canadian Lynx in Britain and you will also learn about the park’s Lynx Conservation Project. Other activities include fantastic bird of prey flying displays and play areas for the kids.

A short walk from Keswick is one of the most popular lakes in the area Derwentwater at 3 miles long offers many water-based activities like sailing and wind-surfing along with pleasant picnic area and tons of fantastic photo opportunities.
