The lodges are ideally located in the picturesque Colefield neighborhood of Gloucestershire. From the lodges, you can explore serene market towns, quaint villages and even venture into the woods. The hot tub lodges are entirely tucked away in an area under the protection of the Forestry Commission. All the beauty around you is under the protection of the State – how cool, huh?
The area surrounding the Forest of Dean Lodges abounds with attractions. Among the most popular with the guests here are the steam train rides, museums, gardens, craft centres and historic villages. Get ready to have yet another benchmarking holiday experience at the Forest of Dean.
What to Expect
There are a total of 120 holiday accommodations at the Forest of Dean Lodges. For our hot tub holidays purposes, we will focus on 11 that are pet friendly and also feature hot tubs. Five of these can sleep between 2 and 4 people, 4 can sleep up to 6 people and 2 can sleep 8 or more people. If you are travelling with a pet, you will be happy to know that all of them allows pets. Amazingly, you will have Wi-Fi access in all the rooms and enjoy a private hot tub soak in 7 of the lodges.
Other amenities that you will get to enjoy inside the lodges include; bathrobes, overhead shower or bath, decks with outdoor hot tubs, log burning stove, TV sets, and disability access in some of the rooms.
The Forest of Dean Lodges is a self-catering holiday spot. Come with all your recipes, Google new ones and even invent your own. You will have a lot of fun trying out the new dishes that you rarely have time to for during your normal day to day life.
If you need special ingredients, there are market towns nearby. Just go out and buy them. On-site the property, there is a shop, and a coffee/snack bar. Just in case you are feeling lazy, go there and have a snack. Alternatively, you can venture into the surrounding towns and sample some local culinary delights.
