And the quality kitchens come equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. These terraced lodges are in a sheltered and peaceful location just walking distance down to sandy Porthtowan Beach on the north coast of Cornwall.

First Class Luxury

Hot Tub Heaven

The Plus range of lodges has a private hot tub out on the terrace.

You can lie back in the bubbling water and feel your worries float away. With a couple of garden chairs for outside to use, you can drink your morning coffee as you take in the sea air.

The Accommodation

LODGES OR COTTAGES?

The lodges at this park have been made from sustainable timber and topped with sedum roofs.

These eco-homes will help reduce the impact on the environment. Inside the fittings are top-class, and the open-plan living areas are light, airy and spacious.

Pet Friendly

DOGS ARE WELCOME

Dogs are welcome to stay with you in the lodges. There is a small charge to pay. Pooches will love it here and enjoy long cliff-top walks. Down on Porthtowan Beach, dogs are not allowed on the sands between Easter and September, but some of the quieter coves along the Cornish coast permit pets all year around.

Activities around Porthtowan Beach

Walk down the hill from Towan Valley Holiday Park and you will reach Porthtowan Beach. The sandy bay is flanked by cliffs of granite and is simply stunning to see.

The blue-flag beach is wide and at low tide, you can walk for miles along the sand. If you keep going, you can get as far as St Agnes, 4 miles away. There are also pathways along the cliff top with views as far as the eye can see. Surfing is a favourite pastime in this part of Cornwall, so lessons are offered at several places.

Redruth is 2.5 miles away, the centre of mining in the past. Cornwall Gold is free to enter where you can explore a tin mine and grab a cream tea. Truro can be reached in about 20 minutes. As the county's only city, it is an entertainment hub with plenty of places to eat and shop. There's been a settlement at Truro since the Iron Age, so there is plenty of history to discover here.

A Final Note

The coastline around Towan Valley Holiday Park is stunning. The rugged cliffs and golden sandy beaches offer more than enough to see on holiday. You can spend hours by the seaside playing in the sand and relaxing in the sea air. With great places to grab a coffee, lunch and ice-cream, you could be out all day having fun.

When it's time to go back to the holiday home, you can rest in total comfort in these luxury lodges. Round the day off with time in the hot tub together out on the terrace.
