ACTIVITIES IN THE MIDDLETON-ON-SEA AREA

There is plenty to see and do at your beach house or in the stunning coastal location. Experience private beaches, heritage sites, dining and culture. 

Make the most of this stretch of the Sussex coast, owned and maintained by a private association. As well as your own private pebble beach, a gate leads onto much bigger beaches, with no car access, so much quieter than nearby surrounding areas. Take pooch out to explore the pebbles and natural coastal grasslands.Middleton-on-Sea is a quiet village to the east of the much more famous town of Bognor Regis. Still with very much a village feel, the streets lead down to the sea, and have lovely grass verges for the dog to enjoy. There are independent shops to browse, a local pub and a sports club offering bowls, cricket, hockey, squash and tennis.For sea sports lovers, there are lots of hires available from Bognor, and the waters are shallow enough for surfing, windsurfing and boating. Further along the coast, jet skis are available for the more adventurous.Kids will love the Flying Fortress indoor play centre, which has karting, a mirror maze and soft play. For grown-ups with a taste for history, try the nearby Tangmere Aviation Museum, with its superb collection of Battle of Britain planes and memorabilia.
