Seamill beach at West Kilbride has a wide, sandy stretch that is backed by a smart café, and is just a 10 minute drive from Dalry.

Activities Around Dalry

Dalry is close to the Ayrshire coast with beaches just 7 miles away. Golf courses, rural villages and the city of Glasgow are all within easy reach giving visitors plenty to see and do.

The river Garnock runs through Dalry as it winds towards the sea. Fishing, weirs and waterfalls can be found in the area. Over on the coast there are hiking routes to walk along including the spectacular Ayrshire Coastal Path.

There are quiet beaches to discover too where rock pools form which are great to peer in with the children. At West Kilbride there's a long sandy beach and an area with a smart cafe serving delicious food.

The county town of Ayr offers shopping, a charming sea front, museums and parks as well as a choice of restaurants and bars. For history buffs, a day a Culzean Castle is a must.

There are acres of formal gardens, a beach, ponds and caves to look around here. Take a boat to the Isle of Bute or Great Cumbrae and tour these beautiful areas of Scotland while you’re in the area.

The hot tub at Hill End Farmhouse is a great luxurious touch. It’s located out on the deck offering views across the rolling countryside. The interior of this cottage is spacious and very comfortable. It sleeps 6 people with enough room for everyone to spread out.

The coast is 7 miles to the west offering long walks, shingle beaches and rocky coves. Robbie Burns’ house and museum can be found nearby, as can the spectacular Culzean Castle. If you long for city life then Glasgow is within easy reach for a choice of places to eat, museums, a theatre and shops galore.

Golfers and fishermen are spoilt for choice in Ayrshire.

There are plenty of places to enjoy these sports without having to travel very far at all.

The 2nd living room has a TV. There's a separate dining room. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric range, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

One double bedroom is on the ground floor with a family bathroom.
