What To Expect

Surrounded by the owner’s working arable and sheep farm, Sheaf Dale is a pretty, single-storey whitewashed cottage. Inside, there are exposed stone walls, modern furniture and little touches of tartan and tweed.

There’s everything you need for a comfortable holiday, such as a king-size bed, Sky TV, and a dishwasher in the kitchen-diner. Outside, the private hot tub and sandstone patio offer a quiet spot for relaxation at the end of the day.

This tranquil location is the perfect base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland. The small harbour village of Portmahomack is less than a mile from the cottage, and it takes about 10 minutes to drive to Tain.
