Offering a quiet location in a small cul de sac, Clunnie Mor is on the edge of Aviemore village in Scotland. There are four holiday cottages here, all making the very best of the stunning surroundings.

Set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, you can ski, snowboard, hike, climb, mountain bike and fish for salmon all within just a few miles.

A private hot tub is in the back garden offering a place to relax after a full day of outdoor pursuits. The furnishings in the cottage are all top quality, and the décor is modern and fresh.

There are four detached holiday cottages in this peaceful cul de sac, all perfectly positioned for the many outdoor activities offered nearby.

With top quality furnishings throughout and extras like a private hot tub, satellite TV, dishwasher and tumble dryer, each cottage offers a comfortable base for a holiday in Aviemore. 

Pet Friendly

The cottage welcomes two dogs to stay at this cottage. Having a rural location on the edge of Aviemore village, long walks in the countryside are on the doorstep. There are popular dog walking routes across the Cairngorms National Park that begin in Aviemore, so look out for maps or guides with them clearly marked.

Activities In The Aviemore Area

Aviemore and the surrounding area is well known for the range of outdoor pursuits on offer. If you like a holiday full of blood pumping activities, then a break in the Cairngorms National Park is just for you.

Aviemore is a popular village with visitors to the Cairngorms, and you’ll find cafes, restaurants and pubs here. There is also a wide range of shops, including outdoor equipment retailers. A 10-minute drive from the village is the Rothiemurchus Centre where you can book a long list of activities. Quadbike trekking, fishing, archery, paddleboarding, and cycle hire are all available here, plus lots more. If you have a love of trains, then a ride on a Strathspey Railway steam locomotive is a must. You can travel back in time along the 10-mile restored track of the original Highlands Line.

Six miles to the north of Aviemore is the Landmark Forest Adventure where the whole family can enjoy tree tops walks, a splash rollercoaster, animals and adventure playgrounds. You can see the UK’s only free-roaming reindeer herd 8 miles from Aviemore. With 150 reindeer on a hillside to visit, it’s a great way to get back to nature.

Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park is an area packed with things to do. Lovers of the great outdoors will never want to leave. It’s a fascinating place to visit all year round, offering something different in each season. In the summer, it’s perfect for hiking and climbing. In the winter months, the Cairngorm Mountain is covered with snow.

A detached cottage with three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people. On the ground floor is a living room with French doors, full-package satellite TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen-diner, conservatory and a WC. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower, and a single room. A Z-bed is available for the 6th person. Outside is a private hot tub in the enclosed garden.
