ABOUT THIS PROPERTY

Its situated in the grounds of the Manor House surrounded by ponies, wildlife and llama. Melmerby is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful village with picturesque village green, tea shop, village bakery with restaurant and gift shop, antique shop, pub and village hall.

There is a private swimming pool that can be booked independently, just 100 yards away from the cottage.

This stunning one-bedroomed cottage features a cobbled courtyard and breathtaking views from the garden room. It boasts a private garden with patio, garden furniture and the superb hot tub.

The bedroom has an en-suite with slipper bath. The cottage has underfloor heating to keep it cosy at night.

A romantic evening could be had in front of the wood burner in the living room. The luxurious bathroom features a slipper bath and French style sink.

A cosy brass bed in the bedroom along with a feature stone fireplace with mood lighting and large flat screen TV ensures you wake up refreshed every morning.

The garden room is complete with a dining area and boasts fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Holidays at this cottage run from Friday to Friday. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.

Activities in Melmerby

There are a whole host of things to do and see in the local area from Castles to Museums, you'll never miss out!

This property is a quaint, quiet and peaceful little village with a shop, post office, pub and village hall. The area is ideal for lovely strolls or a brisk hike. Melmerby Fell, a popular hiking area is close by. Situated on the A686, which runs from Penrith to Corbridge. 

From here you will get a stunning panoramic views across the Solway Firth to Scotland. For a more leisurely walk, take a stroll to the village shop and pick up your morning papers, a llama by your side. The shop, pub and restaurant are all within 200 yards of the cottage.
