Cycling and walking are popular pastimes for guests to Ribblesdale, The Gisburn Forest cycleway offers the best mountain biking in the North in glorious woodland while the hiking trails and picturesque walking trails are second to none.

For something a bit more unusual why not discover the Pendle Witches Mystery Trail which the kids will love. Part driving, part walking it involves finding and solving 22 clues scattered around buildings and monuments and is a fantastic family day out.
