What To Expect

These charming log cabins can be found in the beautiful grounds of Arscott Golf Club a truly unique and wonderful setting.

The lodges are open plan and finished to an extremely high standard, with modern kitchens, stylish décor and some have a rejuvenating outdoor hot tub in which to kick back and relax.

The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant and there is a café onsite for afternoon snacks between rounds. Don’t worry if golf’s not your thing there are tons of other things to do.

Shrewsbury is nearby and is well worth a visit; with an impressive 600 listed buildings, steep winding streets and timber-framed buildings, it also boasts an abbey and castle.

Activities in the Shrewsbury Area

If you love the great outdoors Pine Lodges are the perfect choice. Surrounded by nature with plenty of activities on offer, there are also some great family day’s out within easy reach too!

Walking, fishing, cycling, golf and horse-riding are all on the doorstep and thrill-seekers can try quad-biking, climbing and even mountain-boarding nearby. If you like a visit to a bustling historic market town then you’ll love Shrewsbury.

Cobbled streets unchanged from medieval times bustle with tourists and shoppers.

There are some excellent restaurants hidden in the wattle and daub buildings and extravagant floral displays give the town a splash of colour during the summer months

The town provides a range of leisure facilities for children including a trampoline park bowling and the Little Rascals Playcentre and is also home to Shropshire’s Regimental Museum. The castle boasts relics of the area’s military past. History buffs will also love the world-famous abbey which is open to visitors all year round.

Powys Castle, the Ironbridge Gorge Museum and Attingham Park are only a short drive away and all three offer a terrific family day out. The lodges at Arscott Golf Club overlook the South Shropshire Hills and a visit to the excellent Discovery Centre here is a must!
