What To Expect

Henlle Hall is a country house in the pretty Shropshire countryside. The grounds are quiet and tranquil and boast luxury holiday accommodation in the form of cottages and 18 cosy lodges.

Each lodge is beautifully fitted with a choice of contemporary or traditional styles and each one has its own outside hot tub.

Dogs love the paths through the trees where you can wander together spotting squirrels and birds.

Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges are nestled in 17 acres of trees that surround Henlle Hall. There is a choice of accommodation to book, with 1 or 2 bedrooms available and either a contemporary lodge or traditional style cabin.

Fabulous self-catering accommodation. Choose between one or four bedroom lodges. 

Well equipped kitchens. Enjoy tasty home cooked meals on the decking or verandah. Each lodge has a magnificent outdoor hot tub.

Pet Friendly

These luxury cabins do welcome pets but charge £25 per week and it's important that you make this known before booking.

Drakes LodgeWith one king-size bedroom, a hot tub on the deck and a wood-burning fire, this is the ideal lodge for a romantic break away. In the kitchen area there's a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine, and in the lounge, there's a contemporary sofa, Wi-fi and a double patio doors. One pet is allowed to stay here.

White Lilac Lodge

White Lilac LodgeThis deluxe lodge was new in 2018 and it comes with a modern style. There are 2 king-size bedrooms that can be arranged as twins, a luxury hot tub outside on the deck and a wood-burning fire in the lounge. The living space is open plan and includes a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge-freezer. Large patio doors offer the perfect view of the forest. A dog is welcome here.

Colonel's Lodge

Colonel's LodgeA traditional wooden cabin with a wood burner in the living room, this lodge has 2 bedrooms that can have king-size beds or twins by arrangement. The kitchen-living-dining area is open plan and comes with patio doors that lead out to a hot tub. The country-style kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and microwave and you can take 1 dog with you.

Activities in the oswestry area

There is plenty to see and do at your lodge or in the stunning surrounding countryside. Experience life in the small villages, heritage sites, pubs and restaurants.

In the north of Shropshire and close to the Welsh border, Oswestry and the surrounding area has seen a turbulent past. The town dates back to 1190 and boasts narrow lanes, timber-framed buildings, a market and a wide range of shops. The old school was founded in 1407 and now serves as a heritage centre and tourist information hub.Oswestry Iron Age hill fort is a great place to wander with the dog. This ancient site has pathways making it easier to climb to the top of the mound and look across the county.The British Ironworks Centre has a sculpture park that is often described as a hidden gem. Doggies are welcome to enjoy the art outside where you can find dragons, piglets and bulls created by artists and blacksmiths. A gorilla sculptured using 40,000 spoons and an angel created from knives are 2 of the highlights.
