About Coopers Beach
This awesome hot tub holiday destination is located in the famous Mersea Island. It sits perfectly on the shores overlooking the stunning Essex Coast. What’s more, it is the ideal location from where you can explore England’s oldest recorded town – Colchester.
Coopers’s Beach is a holidaymaker’s paradise. Among the holiday activities that may interest you here include fishing trips, golfing, pony trekking, crabbing, shopping and many more. If you are travelling with the kids, make sure you take them to one of the most celebrated zoos in the UK that is located about 12 miles away. There are castles and museums to explore too.

Coopers Beach Facilities:
You will spend your holiday at the Coopers’s Beach either in a static caravan or a lodge. Among the in-lodge facilities that you can expect to find here include; fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, multi-room heating, pet-friendly, hot tubs, gas/electric fire and beds made up before you arrive. You will lack for nothing inside the lodges.
Your best bet will be to cook your own meal in the fully equipped kitchen. This is not to say that there are no eat-out options. As of 2016, there is a new Boathouse Restaurant and a show bar to give the eclectic culinary options available in Essex. Among the delicacies that you can expect to find here are; sandwiches and giant hot paninis, chargrilled chicken, crispy Kentucky bacon, Whitby prawns and much more.
Attractions and Things to Do
Jimmy’s Farm – You will get a chance to feed the animals reared at the Farm. Much later, you can sample some of the delicacies served at the Farm’s own restaurant.
Museum of Power – Have you ever seen a steam engine? At the Museum of Power, you will see all things steam, including the largest steam engine in Essex.
East Anglian Railway Museum – Located about 13.2 miles from Coopers Beach, the 20 acre museum has on exhibit a 100 history of the railway revolution. You will see wagons, coaches, engines and steam locomotives that are as old as 100 yrs.

Colchester Zoo – This is one of the major attractions of Essex. It boasts a whopping 270 species of animals housed in over 60 acres of wilderness.
Green Island Gardens – If you are looking for a spot to take photographs or spend a day, then the exotic gardens here will do. From Japanese gardens to water gardens to gravel gardens, you will be spoilt for choice on the images to capture.
Rollerworld – This is rumoured to be the best skating rink in Europe. It features a 25 by 50 meter maple floor for skating. While in the complex, why not also visit the café or in-house bar?
