Pet Friendly

NO PETS ALLOWED

Unfortunately due to the surroundings and local wildlife in the vicinity of the lodge, pets are not allowed to stay at the Secret Island Yurt.

About The Secret Island Yurt

A mezzanine bedroom with king size bed is the comfortable place to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The yurt is one of four at the property and has an outdoor seating area with views of the surrounding waterways.

The comfortable open-plan living area has a kitchenette area, perfect for cooking a meal for two and a dining table to enjoy a drink and meals together.

The full length doors and strategically placed window give excellent views out over the water as you cosy up on the sofa or watch TV, surrounding by the peace and quiet afforded by these natural surroundings.

About Lakeview Yurt

Also located within the same fishing lake, Lakeview Yurt has a modern living area and a ground floor bedroom with freestanding roll-top bath tub in the room.

Views of the surrounding lake are guaranteed through the French doors and an outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to relax after exploring the local area. Lakeview Yurt has an outdoor chimenea and barbecue for meals in an outdoor environment.

Underfloor heating keeps you toasty and one well behaved dog is welcome at this yurt.

Bike storage is available at the yurt and you can even enjoy a day's rowing on the lake (at all four lodges) on the owner's boat.

Activities in the Beckford Area

Located on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border, the village of Beckford has a Norman church and a wonderful local pub which serves excellent home-cooked food that is within easy walking distance of the lodges.

One of the most unspoilt areas of England, the market town of Evesham with its traditional high street, riverside walks along the River Avon and a ruined abbey to visit, is nearby. The indoor market is found at the market hall on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the main outdoor market is held every Saturday. This area is known for its excellent agriculture and the markets are the perfect place to pick up locally-grown produce.Just nine miles away is the regency spa town of Cheltenham which has cinemas, excellent shopping and dining options as well as the famous racecourse itself.
