Pet Friendly

DOGS ARE WELCOME

Your four legged friend will be happy to know that all the Thorpe Forest Lodges are pet-friendly, allowing up to 4 pets per lodge. There is however a fee of £10 per night each. They will enjoy the fresh forest air and there’s places aplenty to dig holes and go walking.

Activities In the Thorpe Forest Area

These properties boast excellent walking, riding, forest centres and outdoor activities. Enjoy the watersports and birdwatching. The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is a short drive away. Cultural attractions, shops and restaurants of Norwich, Cambridge and Ipswich are all close by.

Enjoy the numerous walks on offer. The Great Easten Pingois are a gentle 8km walk along the route of the old Crab and Winkle Railway line. Pingos are shallow pools, full of wildlife, that were formed over 20,000 years ago. This stunning walk also takes you past a nature reserve.

Go Ape Thetford is set in the heart of Britain's largest lowland pine forest. Centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails to explore and 50,000 acres of forest.
