Brockwood Hall Facilities:
Brockwood Hall has established quite a reputation for providing elegant accommodation for its guests. This is exactly the main reason why both locals and tourists are easily drawn to it.
They have plenty of selections to meet your needs. For example, you may want to get a two or three bedroom lodge set in a wooded hillside. All lodges come with attractive balconies or verandahs with awesome garden furniture.
It also has basic features to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Clean bed linen and duvets are in place before you enter the room. Bath and shower are also provided. There’s even the option of having a sauna if you reserve either the Maple or Helvellyn lodge.
With the exception of Derwent Lodge, all the rooms have a nice kitchen that allows you to use appliances such as microwave, fridge and freezer. Storing and cooking food will be a walk in the park even if you are several miles away from home.
In Helvellyn Lodge, you may also have an additional sleeping area for two in the lounge.
For some entertainment during your free time, you can also use the TV with Freeview/DVD.
Electricity is used by card meter.
Bar and Activities
The on-site bar is a nice option if you want to grab some of your favourite food and drink. On some occasions, the bar also has fun activities such as Quiz Nights. It will be fun if you can catch that, preferably with your friends or family members.
Stay Away, Smokers – or At Least Keep Your Cigarettes In Your Pocket.
A word of warning though – Brockwood Hall implements a strict no smoking policy. So if you are a smoker and you’re planning to make a visit, it is always much better to plan ahead and try to keep the cigarettes in your pocket. There isn’t a designated place for smoking in the area.
Quality Customer Care
If there’s one thing you can also count on during your stay in Brockwood is that the staff members are really friendly. They’re always willing to lend a hand or to answer any questions you may have. Just ring them on the phone or ask and you bet help will instantly be on the way.
Travelling With Kids and Pets?
If you are travelling with your young children, you might feel delighted to discover that Brockwood Hal has available travel cots and highchairs that you can rent. Also, your kids will love the fact that you can all enjoy using a pool while you are on your holiday.
Bringing your pets shouldn’t be a problem either as long as you are willing to pay the fees.
Wireless Internet Access
The possible downside here, however, is that while internet access is possible, the connection isn’t offered for free. You will have to pay a certain amount before you can start using the wireless internet in the area. Some previous customers claim that Brockwood charges up to £20 for a 1GB data which is, all things considered, sounds a bit pricey. Disappointingly, one reviewer said that the data “did not last more than 30 hours.” That’s not a good news if you constantly need to stay online and do some work while you are on a holiday break.
Regardless of these potential flaws, it can be easily said that the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. You will love Brockwood Hall for its natural beauty and excellent accommodation.
