Situated just a short distance from Grange-over-Sands, the home is set in exquisite countryside with gardens that spread out into beautiful Parkland. Cartmel PrioryA place of prayer and inspiration, this 12th century abbey offers visitors stunning architecture and a fascinating heritage that is rich with history. Located in the heart of Cartmel village the priory is surrounded by picturesque English countryside. Visitors can marvel at the ancient architecture or discover the secrets within its motifs and carvings. A great spiritual day out that comprises elements of history, worship and architecture all in a visit. Coniston Water - Torver Back Common family walkThe southern end of Lake Coniston is overlooked by a small crop of hills called Torver Back Common. The hills sweep down to the shores of the lake where walkers can experience a mixture of fast running becks, ancient trees and hidden gravel beaches. The walk is easy going and family-friendly and visitors can even bring their four-legged pets along. For more experienced walkers a longer 3 mile excursion is available.

Romney Lodge

A spacious, homely lodge perfect for a romantic retreat. Rooms consists of a large master bedroom with access to a private decking area and secluded outdoor hot tub.

Bathroom sports a traditional sitting bath with separate shower. The main lounge area is an open planned light filled space that includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

Vendeen Lodge

Indulge in luxury in this deluxe mid-sized lodge. Perfect for couples or a small family the rooms consist of a master double bedroom and one twin room. Both rooms have ensuite showers.

The open planned lounge area has full length windows which invite the outdoors in. For added luxury there is an authentic wood burning stove. Private hot tub and secluded veranda space.

Our newest lodge, constructed in 2016, is a deluxe affair with one master double room and one twin. The master double comes with widescreen TV and ensuite shower.
