Kids will love the children's play area and there is a salmon fishing river right on the doorstep, the park is surrounded by majestic mountains, making this location a truly idyllic holiday spot.

Further afield why not spend a day at Aviemore with its array of outdoor activities including walking, snow-boarding, skiing and for something a little different sled dog trekking

The Scottish Highlands are a canine paradise; the long walks, challenging climbs and lush green glens are sure to get Fido’s tail wagging and after all that exercise there are plenty of pooch friendly pit stops where you can enjoy a bite to eat or well-deserved drink.

Creag Dhubh sleeps four and has gas central heating throughout, meaning this charming hot tub lodge is just as popular during the winter months and even better all fuel and power costs are included in the rent

The smart galley kitchen provides everything you need to cook tasty meals, which can be enjoyed either inside or outdoors overlooking the mountains. There is also a launderette on site so no need to worry if you return from an action-packed day a little wet and muddy.

To keep the family entertained in the evenings there is a TV with FreeSat, DVD player and a good selection of books, DVDs and board games, so curl up with a glass of wine, a good book, watch a movie or enjoy a family games night.

There is an abundance of things to do in the area, with scenic walks, cycle trails and the river to the rear is popular with fishermen and wildlife lovers. Golfers will find some excellent courses within easy reach and winter sports enthusiasts will enjoy the excellent facilities at Aviemore less than 20 miles away.
