This Tudor building has a large collection of eclectic items. There are plenty of activities at the museum for children including, quizzes and courtyard games.

There is something for the whole family. Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop produces fresh from the estate, tenant farms, Derbyshire suppliers and other small food producers. The perfect place to buy ingredients to use back at the cottage. Sally Mosley Guided Walks is another gem. Enjoy guided walks and learn about the history of the stunning surroundings.

Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, is set in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire. For captivating stories enjoy one of Europe's most enchanting art collections. There is a perfectly manicured garden with water features and huge sculptures. For the kids there’s a working farmyard and adventure playground.

An interesting sight to see is Arbor Low Stone Circle and Gib Hill Barrow is a prehistoric monument that was started between 3,000 and 2,500 BC, consisting of 42 stones in a 40-meter diameter circle. Mining for lead has been carried out at Magpie Mine for over 250 years, the site is one of the best examples of its kind in the country. Monsal Trail runs through the Peak District national park. Walk or hire a bicycle this overwhelming part of the country is not to be missed.

Haddon Hall is another marvel not to be missed and stands on a rocky outcrop. It is the perfect example of a Medieval and Tudor manor house. The River Wye is perfect for long exhilarating walks with plenty of wildlife to see. For beer lovers there’s the Thornbridge Brewery.
