Superbly furnished with many original features this superb cottage with hot tub offers characterful accommodation along with contemporary fixtures and fittings plus the added delight of your own private hot tub.
The property is located on the owner's working farm and guests have the shared use of over 150-acres of lovely grounds which include Betley Mere, a 26-acre lake which was formed during the Ice Age and is ideal for leisurely lakeside walks, bird watching, picnics and coarse fishing (permits can be obtained from the owners).
Along with being a working farm, there are a host of events which take place throughout the year, including a village show, annual 3-day summer festival which was headlined by Bryan Adams in 2016 and one of the the country's most impressive bonfire and fireworks displays. Youngsters and adults alike will love staying on the farm during lambing season and there are two excellent pubs, serving fresh home-cooked food, a short stroll away.

This delightful ground floor property has been finished the highest standard and consists a seating area that exudes rustic charm and includes a wood burning stove, beamed ceiling, TV with Freeview and French doors which lead onto the rear parking area, a bright and airy dining area and stylish contemporary kitchen. There are two bedrooms one with super king-sized bed which is zip-linked and can be a twin on request and a spacious double room, both have en-suite shower rooms with shower cubicle, basin, WC and heated towel rails. Outside there is a lawned garden shared by both properties and a seating area perfect to relax on warm summer evenings, guests can also explore the extensive grounds at leisure.

These delightful cottages combine many original features with modern amenities to provide comfortable and stylish family accommodation. Spend lazy mornings snuggled beneath the duvet of the super king size bed before sipping a morning cuppa outside taking in the farmland views while planning the day's activities.
There are numerous public footpaths accessible from the grounds. Coarse fishing is available at the lake onsite, so keen anglers or amateurs can pack their fishing rods. Other popular activities nearby include golf, horse-riding and mountain biking and there are a host of outdoor activities and a Go Ape Forest Adventure at Delamere Forest which is only 26 miles away.
The accommodation is all on the ground floor making Carpenter's Cottage ideal for those with mobility problems.
The modern well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals but if you don't wish to spend time cooking, the owner can provide cooked breakfasts along with afternoon teas at the main farmhouse, along with packed picnic lunches by arrangement. There is also an excellent restaurant within walking distance.
This property can be booked individually or with Ref. UKC1024 together they accommodate eight people making them ideal for annual family holidays or groups of friends celebrating a special occasion.
A cot and highchair can be requested for guests with babies and older children will love the farm animals but please be aware there is a large unfenced lake onsite so children should be supervised at all times.

The market town of Nantwich which has a number of historic buildings and great selection of cafes, shops and bars is just 8 miles away. Chester Zoo, Trentham Monkey Forest and Alton Towers are within driving distance and are all excellent family day's out Other places worth a visit include Bridgmere Garden World, 5 miles and The Potteries at Stoke-on-Trent only 14 miles, North Wales is also easily accessible and there are a host of activities nearby to keep even the most energetic guests happy.
